Mattheo Salazar Riddle (b. 1952) was an English half-blood wizard considered the most powerful wizard ever besides his father, Tom Riddle, known as Lord Voldemort, and a muggle-born woman named Hermione Granger, known as Lady Riddle or Lady Voldemort. Descended from Salazar Slytherin on his father's side through his paternal grandmother's family, the House of Gaunt. Unlike his father, Mattheo was not conceived under the effects of a love potion or imperious curse. His mother has difficulty giving birth to him because Mattheo does not want to come out of her mother's belly, and his father thinks the baby is gonna die. However, Tom casts a spell over her so that the child can be easily born healthy and safely.

Mattheo was born and raised in a loving home because his mother and father cared for and loved him.

He began attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in 1963 at the same time as Abraxas's son, Lucius, and was immediately sorted into Slytherin house. During this time, Mattheo made friends with Lucius Malfoy II and Humphrey Avery II. Like his father, he can open the Chamber of Secrets while speaking Parseltongue and wake the monster, the Basilisk.

Early life (1952–1963)




Mattheo Salazar Riddle was born in 1952 at Riddle's Manor. His mother, Hermione, had difficulty giving birth to him because Mattheo did not want to come out of her belly. His father thought the baby was going to die, but Tom cast a spell over her so that the child could be easily born healthy and safely.
